Give a brief info about Dataguard?
Dataguard is a value-added MSP Distributor and LSP (Large Service Provider) based in India, UAE and Nigeria focusing on Data Management & Cyber Security platform on Premise and on Cloud.
We started as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in 2016 during the change in the dynamics of perpetual to subscription era. Dataguard MEA grew enormously and to become a MSP Distributor, VAD and Large Service Provider currently serving 700+ partners and 10000+ clients in the region.
We specialize in data management and cyber security stream, we offer products and services such as Acronis, Nakivo, Carbonite, Bitdefender, Vircom, Storware, Veriato and InDefend. Our solution selling model to partners with direct end user support program gives us a competitive edge and partner/customer retention. Strong partner ecosystem with 24×7 support and trainings help us to scale up our partner base and subsequently business growth.
Currently our strong hold territories are the Middle East and African countries operating from our corporate office in India. To scale up to the next level, we urge to expand our territory to the United States during the 1st quarter of 2021.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
Dataguard was started at the time when quality solutions and services were not affordable to companies as all such solutions were available at capital expenditure models. We urged to provide the best in class solutions pertaining the most vital requirement for every small, medium and large enterprises such as cyber security, data management, cyber backup and disaster recovery at operational expense with utmost quality, support and managed services.
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
Dataguard is based out of Kochi with its branches in UAE and Nigeria to address our target market. Our headquarters is based in India with our major workforce sitting here and addressing the whole of the overseas market. Availability of Quality Resources, better start up environment and work culture and support from local bodies is why we find it best to operate from India.
What are your products and services and who are your major customers?
Dataguard MEA is operating in all countries of the Middle East and Africa. The growing demand of OPEX model helped us to grow tremendously in 3 years with 200% YoY business since 2016.
Dataguard MEA is currently offering Acronis, Carbonite Availability, Bitdefender, Veriato, Storware, Vircom, and InDefend solutions in the region.
Our major customers include Government, Semi Government, large enterprises, SMB segments, MSPs, ISPs and cloud providers.
Data is very important in today’s world. How do you evaluate the industry in the next 5 years?

We are a structured Cloud aggregrator focusing On- premise and cloud-based subscription business. Our core competency lies in product stills, market awareness and quality support. We bundle and package products coated along with service and support (24×7). This attracts clients with sizable amount of increase in business with conversions and upsell/cross sell opportunities.

We are a team of 35 people from different parts of the world, highly motivated in this dynamic technology trend. Each member is fine crafted to sell, presell and support clients with utmost care and consultation.
What are your future plans for Dataguard? Where do you see Dataguard in the next few years?
Our strength lies in Channel/Customer Management; Client Onboarding & Management, Sales/Technical Skills; 24×7 dedicated support center and Lead Generation and Marketing.
We now provide the best in class software solution with SLA terms at affordable operational expense to the whole of Middle East and Africa. Our vision is to spread worldwide as one of the largest MSP Distributor / Cloud Aggregator. We have announced our expansion to US market by Q1, 2021.
